These documents include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Current title deed of the land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous deeds of the land&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current plan of the land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous plan of the land&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Approvals from the Divisional Secretary, Department of Agrarian Services and etc<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 02:<\/strong> Include a copy of the deed <strong>AND<\/strong> plan of the land<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Step 03:<\/strong> Hand in the documents + copies of the deeds and plan to your lawyers or notary public<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After you hand in your documents, they will:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the registers at the Land Registry to find the ownership history of the land and obtain copies of the previous title deeds.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If these documents aren\u2019t readily available at the Land Registries, they\u2019ll ask you to provide them if it\u2019s in your possession.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Carefully study and analyse all the materials they\u2019ve gathered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once analysed, they will finally put together your title report with all the information you will need to know about the land.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"4\">What will the Title Report tell you about your land?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The title report&nbsp; will help you find all the key information you need to know about your land like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. If you unknowingly share (or may have to share) ownership of the land with anyone else<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The title report will tell you if there\u2019s anyone who\u2019d have the rights to claim ownership of your land either through a deed or inheritance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will also get to know whether there are people who have been occupying your land for a long enough time period to make claims to your land too.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
